This demo uses the the tools from FSI Automation XCaliper. First it locates the start of the label and then determines the length of the line. Also notice that it recognices blanks (black rectangle in the first line between the word 'DIGIT' and the area code '22304') and new lines.

The found text could be compared with data from a address database, or a signal can be sent out via RS-232, or whatever is necessary. In this case the demo program checks only whether the letters are readable.
