Looking for a possibility to check the wire bonding on your board?
We have the solution! Our application brings a powerful, flexible and affordable
solution tailored to your inspection needs. The application runs on a standard PC
under Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.
Set Up / Learning Mode
In the set up mode you can easily teach the program the:
- Location of each chip
- Location of each wire
- The angle of wire the on each type of the chip.
The last point in the list is necessary for the error determination.
That makes it possible not only to determine a missing wire, also whether the wire
is in the right location or not.
The setup mode is also protected by a password so only authorized
people have access to this mode. For the later inspection of the wires the set up
mode is not necessary.
Processing Mode
In the processing mode you have the possibility to skip chips and
the option to save the images of the chips which have missing wires.
The output fields will give you a quick information about the missing
wires and the current location of the camera (which chip will be inspected).
For a later location of the missing wires all information is saved in
an error file.
In the case the board should be placed under the camera by a human
worker, the processing mode also includes a location correction of the chip. This
means the program looks for a chip in the viewport (what the camera sees) and it
will move the chip to the position that the program can process it properly.
By identifying the missing wires at this stage, the part can be
reworked to reduce scrap page and increase productivity.
